This website is for the independently operated Unit 551 vacation rental at Landmark Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Information you provide

A booking request collects your name, contact details, travel dates, group size, vehicle count and any notes you choose to share. Please avoid including payment-card details, identification documents or other sensitive information in the request form.

How it is used

The property owner uses your information to review your request, respond to questions, arrange your stay and keep booking and payment records. Request details are stored in the website’s hosting database and are available to the authorized owner. Hosting and, when enabled, email providers process information needed to operate these services.

Guest reviews

The review form collects your chosen public name, email address, star rating, review text and optional month of stay. Your email stays private and is available only to the owner for reviewing your submission or contacting you about it. Please leave contact details and other sensitive information out of your public name and review text.

Every review is private until the owner approves publication. With your permission, an approved review displays your chosen name, rating, text and optional stay month. The public average includes only published reviews. Unpublished reviews remain in the owner’s moderation records. The owner receives an email alert when a review is submitted. Contact the owner to request a correction or removal.

Payments

When available, approved guests complete payment through Stripe. Stripe processes payment details; this website does not store card numbers. The website retains payment references, amounts and reservation status to confirm your booking and support recordkeeping.

Your private request link

The complete link to your request page allows access to your request details and payment options after approval. Keep it private. The public availability calendar never displays guest names or contact information.

Retention and requests

Booking and payment records are kept as needed to manage your stay and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact the owner to request a correction or discuss deletion of information, subject to those obligations. Use the contact details provided by the owner when arranging your stay.

Cookies and essential services

The owner sign-in and payment providers may use cookies necessary for their services. The booking form does not use advertising cookies or store its contents in your browser’s local storage. Basic technical information may be processed by the hosting provider for security and operation.

Trip planner

The trip planner saves your selected day style and checklist items in local storage on this browser. It does not save names, travel dates or contact details, and the checklist contents are not sent to the owner. Reset the checklist or clear this website’s browser data to remove your saved choices. Copying or printing the plan happens only when you choose those actions.

Optional website analytics

We measure public page visits, broad device categories, referring website domains, campaign labels, booking-button clicks, guide engagement, share or copy actions, planner interactions and page-speed measurements to improve this website. A random identifier in session storage groups activity within this browser tab, expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. These analytics do not collect booking-form contents, payment details, names, email addresses, raw IP addresses, full referring URLs or private request pages.

Analytics events are visible only to the property owner. Events older than 180 days are removed during routine cleanup as the website is used. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal turns this optional tracking off. You can also turn it off below; this choice is saved on this browser and does not affect booking. Essential booking records and hosting security logs are separate.

Exterior security cameras

There are exterior security cameras on the property, including a Ring doorbell camera outside the unit’s front door. Please review the house rules and ask the owner about camera operation or recordings before booking if you have questions.

Before you book

Submitting a request does not reserve dates. Each request requires owner approval. You receive a final quote and cancellation policy before payment. The waterpark across the street is not available to guests of this unit. Purchases of food or drinks at the resort’s on-site restaurants and bars may or may not be permitted; access is not guaranteed. Please plan meals accordingly. The other resort amenities listed here are available to unit guests, subject to operating hours, maintenance and seasonal conditions.
